Awaken your Creative Fire
Today we enter the halfway point between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox in the Northern hemisphere. Imbolc is the first of three Celtic spring festivals marking the promise of spring.
The word Imbolc is believed to mean 'in the belly' and can make you aware of what you want to birth into life this spring. This is a powerful moment to become aware of what awakens your passion and enthusiasm. Now is the time to move forward with creative projects and take action to bring your dreams into reality.
In the Celtic tradition, the Goddess Brigid is celebrated who symbolizes the fertility of spring, craftsmanship, the hearth, alchemy, and the fire of inspiration and poetry. You can connect to her energy by lighting a candle or making a fire and setting an intention to burn away what is not serving you and bless your creative projects. Allow the fire of inspiration to light the way ahead.
